Requirements In order to register you must:
If you are in Academic Caution or Warning Status you must see an Advisor in order to get permission to register. Emeritus Students If you:
ESL Students If you are taking English as a Second Language classes you must see a counselor or advisor in order to get permission to register. Your are welcome to visit the International Center on the second floor of the Student Center Building. F-1 Visa Students If you are on an F-1 student visa and hold an I-20 from WCC you need to submit a "Request for Authorization" form to the Student Connection each semester before you can register. High School Students If you are in High School you must turn in a Parent/Principal Consent Form (PDF) [also known as the Minor Student Enrollment Parental Consent Form and the Dual Enrollee Consent Form] to the Student Connection each semester before you can register. You may take a maximum of seven credit hours per semester. Home School Students If you are a Home School student you must see a WCC advisor and turn in a a Parent/Principal Consent Form (PDF) [also known as the Minor Student Enrollment Parental Consent Form and the Dual Enrollee Consent Form] to the Student Connection each semester before you can register. You may take a maximum of seven credit hours per semester. Minor Students If you are a Minor Student, that is if you are not yet 18 years of age, you must submit a a Parent/Principal Consent Form (PDF) [also known as the Minor Student Enrollment Parental Consent Form and the Dual Enrollee Consent Form] to the Student Connection each semester before you can register. This is true even if you have graduated from High School. If you have emancipated legal status you do not have to submit the form. Students Wanting to Register for 18 or more credit hours Before you can register for 18 or more credit hours in a semester you must have your schedule approved by an advisor. Veteran Students If you are a veteran and interested in using your Veteran's benefits, contact the Enrollment Services Veteran Certification Clerk at 734-973-3616 before you register. To be certified for benefits, you must fill out a V.A. Request To Be Certified Form each semester and whenever you add or drop a class. The form can be picked up from and submitted to the Student Connection. Veterans must fulfill payment responsibilities by published due dates.
