Additional Student Services Offered at WCC
Advising and Counseling
WCC offers a number of places where students can get academic advising and counseling, depending upon
a student's need or situation.
Employment Services
Employment Services provides help with part- and full-time job placement, as well as Cooperative Education (Co-op) and Academic
Service Learning placement. They offer resume help as well as employment-related events, such

International Student Services can help make your transition to the Washtenaw Community College campus
as smooth as possible. They offer one-on-one counseling as well as academic and immigration advising for
students from around the world. International students with F-1 visas may be admitted if they meet certain
requirements. WCC is authorized by federal law to admit non-immigrant students.
Student Activities
Activities through the Office of Student Development and Activities are designed to give students opportunities to try
something new, meet other classmates, and expand their interests--all at an affordable cost.
Students are encouraged to participate in these cultural, social, and recreational activities as a means to acquire a
well-rounded education at WCC and to have fun!
Students With Disabilities
Learning Support Services provides services for students with disabilities including academic advising, accommodations,
auxiliary aids and specialized computer software. Services are also available for students who are economically or academically
disadvantaged or who have limited English-speaking proficiency. Tutoring is provided for all students in credit classes.
