Spring and Summer sports! (updated 6/4/09)

Coed & Men's Softball (slow pitch)
We're still looking for more women to join our Coed Softball team! Remember students, you can play recreational sports at no cost to you!
WCC Softball practices take place on Wednesdays from 8-10pm at EMU's Rec/IM Softball Complex. The Coed Softball team plays doubleheaders on Mondays (6:15pm and 7:30pm start times), and the Men's Softball team plays on Tuesdays (6:15pm start times). Both teams are slow pitch. Contact the Club Sports office and come out to practice if you're interested in joining, and let us know if you have questions or need directions.

Baseball
Baseball Practices: Thursday June 4th from 8-10pm, Wednesday June 17th from 8-10pm and Wednesday July 8th from 6-8pm at EMU's Softball Complex. View the baseball schedule.

Sand Volleyball (Women's and Coed)
Let us know if you are interested in playing Sand Volleyball this summer. We have one Women's team (Tuesdays) and two CoRec teams (Wednesdays). There are still spots available on our rosters!

Cross Country
Stop by the Club Sports office for more information and to pick up a practice run schedule.

Soccer
This spring we have a Men's Indoor Soccer team (D2 on Sundays) and a Coed Indoor Soccer team (D2 on Fridays) at Wide World Sports Center, and a Men's Outdoor Soccer team in SEMPSL. For more information contact the Club Sports office or Coach Dave Pieske.

10th Annual Awards Ceremony

The Club Sports program hosted its 10th Annual Awards Ceremony on Tuesday May 20th at the College's Community Park. The weather was not perfect with a cool breeze and the sun behind the clouds, so we were very happy to see how many people still came out for the event.

The 50 plus attendees included some of the program's coaches and athletes with their families and other guests, as well as a few alumni.
