It is the mission of Campus Safety and Security to provide a safe and secure environment for students and employees at Washtenaw Community College.

Campus Safety and Security employs both full and part-time Security Patrol officers, Campus Safety Officers (EMT) and Dispatchers.

Security Patrol Officers are responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the College community, including buildings and property.

Campus Safety Officers provide emergency medical services and other security-related functions. These officers are licensed Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT).

Dispatchers provide the first contact with the campus community and general public by processing telephone and walk-in requests for service.
