Health & Safety Committee
The general purpose of the committee is to correct and prevent safety and health
hazards in the work place.
Through the use of a formal program we will identify, evaluate, and control problem
areas for unsafe acts, practices, conditions, or unhealthy work environment.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
Conduct on-site inspections
To recommend correction of hazardous conditions
Recommend written rules and regulations
Recommend training for employees
Monitor and evaluate program performance
Keep a log of MSDS in Security office
Meeting Minutes
The Health & Safety Committee meets monthly at Washtenaw Community College.
