Statistics
Presents information about crime in the United States, compiled by the
Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS). The BJS is part of the Office of Justice
Programs, a division of the Washington, D.C.-based U.S. Department of

criminal offenders, law enforcement, prosecution, courts and sentencing,
corrections, expenditure and employment, and criminal record systems.

Congressional Research Reports for the People
This "think tank" funded by American taxpayers provides reports to Congress on a myriad of topics pertaining to current political events. The Center for Democracy and Technology advocates for citizen access to information through the Open CRS. Reports do not become available to the public until a congressional member releases them. Justice Information
Center
Features the National Criminal Justice Reference Service (NCJRS), a collection
of clearinghouses supporting U.S. justice bureaus. Includes information
on corrections, courts, crime prevention, international law, juvenile
justice, and law enforcement. Provides information on drugs and crime,
crime victims, and criminal justice statistics. Contains a keyword search
engine, and NCJRS catalog, conference information, and information on
justice grants. Links to government sponsors and studies and publications

Information Network
The Justice Technology Information Network (JUSTNET) is the online gateway
to law enforcement and corrections technology information. Under the auspices
of the National Institute of Justice (NIJ), JUSTNET is maintained by the
National Law Enforcement and Corrections Technology Center (NLECTC). The
site also provides access to TechBeat, an online journal on law enforcement
technology.

Michigan Department
of Natural Resources, Enforcement
This official site details the functions and activities of the Law Enforcement
Division at the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, which regulates
boating, fishing, hunting, and land and water management. The site also
provides DNR law enforcement information as well as weekly reports.

Archive of Criminal Justice Data
Presents the National Archive of Criminal Justice Data, established by
the Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR)
at the University of Michigan. The Archive holds over 500 data collections
relating to criminal justice. Provides access to the Archive and allows
users to search it. Notes that users may browse the holdings by subject,
such as corrections, court case processing, courts, crime and delinquency,
police, victimization, and drugs, alcohol, and crime.

The Constitution of the United States of America

Available free from the Library of Congress, this site presents more that ten million items of American history and culture. Legislation in Congress enables the searcher to find bills by word/phrase or bill number. You can browse bills by sponsor and track current activity, such as Yesterday in Congress, or On the House Floor Now. Search the Congressional Record Latest Daily Digest. Learn about the Supreme Court and track legislation from a bill to a law.
Your Child: Development and Behavior Resources
Your Child web site provides links to web sites about children development
and behavior issues. The information is reviewed by behavioral and developmental
pediatricians at the University of Michigan. Topics include aggression
