ACLU - Death Penalty
Site is designed by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). The organization provides access to new developments in the stand against the death penalty. Also included are links to Take Action, In this Section, Latest News and More Information.

Amnesty International The Death Penalty
Amnesty International works toward protecting human rights worldwide. Another site that is against the death penalty. Their organization is working towards the end of executions and the abolition of the death penalty everywhere. An excellent source for world wide information about the death penalty.

Criminal Justice Legal Foundation
The Criminal Justice Legal Foundation was established in 1982 as a nonprofit, public interest law organization dedicated to restoring a balance between the rights of crime victims and the criminally accused. The organization provides a link to information about the death penalty. In addition, the site provides cases, briefs, press releases, publications and other links.

Death Penalty Information Center
The Death Penalty Information Center is a non-profit organization serving the media and the public with analysis and information on issues concerning capital punishment. The Center was founded in 1990 and prepares in-depth reports, issues press releases, conducts briefings for journalists, and serves as a resource to those working on this issue. An outstanding web site for past history, state by state resources, what's new, the issues, and the facts.

Justice for All
This site is maintained by Justice For All, a Criminal Justice Reform Organization. Justice for All is a victim's advocacy group that maintains a web site with extensive death penalty information and provides a voice for the survivor of murder victims. Justice for All supports the death penalty.

NAACP Legal Defense Fund
The NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Inc. (LDF) was founded in 1940 under the leadership of Thurgood Marshall. Although LDF's primary purpose was to provide legal assistance to poor African Americans, its work over the years has brought greater justice to all Americans. The Capital Punishment section has Press Releases and Legal Briefs on various Death Penalty cases around the country.

National Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty
The National Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty (NCADP) was created in 1976. NCADP provides information, advocates for public policy, and mobilizes and supports individuals and institutions that share our unconditional rejection of capital punishment. Their "Facts and Figures" page keeps track of current death row population by state and race, information on who was executed in 2004 and 2005, and much more.
