Cloning Adam's Rib: A Primer on Religious Responses to Cloning
A publication of the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life, a non-partisan, non-advocacy organization that gathers and disseminates information on topics related to religion and public policy. This report summarizes the official statements of major organized religions in America (Roman Catholicism, Protestantism, Islam, and Judaism) on therapeutic and reproductive cloning.

Cloning in Focus
The purpose of this website from the Genetic Science Learning Center at the University of Utah is to "find out how it's done, examine potential uses for cloning technologies and explore the related ethical, legal and social issues". It includes a concise introduction to the science of cloning, the history of the technology, benefits and risks of cloning, interactive activities, and teacher resources.

The President's Council on Bioethics
The President's Council was formed in the early 2002 to "advise the President on ethical issues related to advances in biomedical science and technology". The link on cloning includes working papers and session transcripts of the council meetings. A Frequently Asked Questions memo on cloning examines the topic from an ethical standpoint.

State Human Cloning Laws
The National Conference of State Legislatures provides information on the laws in each state regarding reproductive and therapeutic cloning.
