Interlibrary Loan
Search and request books and other material not available at the Bailey Library.
You must be a current student, faculty, or staff member of WCC to make an Interlibrary Loan (ILL) request.
Michigan eLibrary Catalog (MeLCat)
Use the MeLCat to make an online request to a participating Michigan library. Search for your item, and once you find the record for the material you want, click on the "Get this for me!" link.
- Requests are free of charge.
- The average time for arrival is 5-6 days.
- If you need material right away, see the reference librarians for help in locating similar materials that WCC Library owns or that are available online.
- You will be notified when the item has arrived.
Interlibrary Loan (ILL)
If the material is not available in MeLCat, use the WorldCat Catalog to make an online request. Search for your item, and once you find the record for the material you want, click on the "Request Item" link in the My Library area on the right of the screen.
- Requests are free of charge.
- The average time for arrival is 7-8 days; however, be aware that some requests can take up to six weeks to arrive, and may take longer.
- If you need material right away, see the reference librarians for help in locating similar materials that WCC Library owns or that are available online.
- You will be notified when the item has arrived.

Note: In accordance with the WCC Enterprise Information Security Plan (PDF), the online Interlibrary Loan Request Form has been removed from our site. All requests should be made by through MeLCat, WorldCat or by contacting the ILL office directly.
