2008-2009 PART-TIME FACULTY WAGE RATES Immediately Below (Effective: Fall Semester 2008) A. Wage Rate and Load Assignment 1. Professional Instructor (Adjunct) $765.00 One (1) course contact hour2. Professional Instructor (Non-Adjunct) $730.00 One (1) course contact hour3. WCC Retired Professional Instructor and Retired Administrator $945.00 One (1) course contact hour4. WCC Retired Professional Counselor and Librarians Maximum hours per week are twenty (20).5. Teaching Load Assignment Maximum contact teaching hours are sixty-four (64) in each seven and one-half (7.5) week session, or up to one hundred twenty (120) hours in each ten (10) week session or fifteen (15) week semester.6. Counselor, Librarian, Professional Service Personnel Maximum hours per week are twenty (20).
B. Credentials Part-time faculty with credentials other than those specified for their department/category shall require approval of the Vice President for Instruction prior to assignment. Such approval shall be on file in the Office of Human Resource Management.
