Computer Purchase for Personal Use
Apple Computers Apple Computer, Inc. offers discounts on computers purchased by faculty/staff for their own use. Note that these computers are purchased and supported through Apple, not through WCC. For more information visit the Apple Store for Education (opens new window). Dell Computers The Dell Corporation offers discounts on computers purchased by faculty/staff for their own use. Note that these computers are purchased and supported through Dell Corporation, not through WCC. For more information visit the Dell Website for WCC (opens new window) and investigate options in which you might have interest (the basic package is often sufficient for your needs, but upgrades are often less expensive when built in during manufacture). (No login required, but Dell checks your employee status if you wish to make a purchase.) You may also login to the WCC Intranet to view current special offers from Dell. Delivery of Dell Computers: Your Dell computer will be delivered to your home. Financing Options for Dell Computers: While at the Dell site, you may wish to investigate financing options offered by Dell, including their "personal purchase program," available through Dell Financial Services, offering affordable monthly payments.
