       The Program

WCC's Associate Degree Program provides a solid foundation in both practical and managerial aspects of the Hospitality Industry. WCC is respected statewide for immediate employment or for transfer options into many four-year college and university programs, such as, Eastern Michigan University, Cleary College, University of Detroit Mercy, Grand Valley University, and Ferris State University.

Courses are taught by seasoned professionals using up-to-date equipment and software with a high level of class participation. In the three laboratory classes you will be part of a team responsible for the operation of Garrett's restaurant, one of the few full-service student restaurants in the state. Plus, during co-op, you'll work in the field for 240 hours of on-the-job training. The interactive nature of this program allows students to augment their learning through practical experience. The program content is continually updated by an active advisory board of industry professionals.
